Rapper Azealia Banks is no stranger to controversy, and the latest one she's become embroiled in involves an incident on an airplane that saw her accused of making homophobic comments.
The '212' singer was flying from New York to Los Angeles the other day when she alleges that she was prevented from leaving the plane by two of her fellow passengers. Witnesses say that she spat in someone's face - although there is no footage of that - and she said on Twitter that she had been hit in the face.
There is, however, footage of her calling the cabin crew member who intervened and refused to return her bag to her a 'f**king f*ggot'.
She denied accusations of homophobia, saying:
I am bisexual. my brother is trans. My employees are all gay men. . Nothing else to say.
