Arctic Monkeys, like most people in the world, have families that they return to see at Christmas time.

Although most of the band don't live in their hometown of Sheffield any more, they have been spotted in the city in recent days leading many to believe that they're back together to work on new material.

It has been almost four years since their last album 'AM' was released, after all, and they've all been busy with other projects since - so they're due a meet-up to discuss the future, at the very least.

Or... maybe they're just home to see their mums.

Fingers crossed for a new album, though...
