Morrissey's autobiography caused a bit of a stir when it was published in 2013, and now his former bandmate Johnny Marr will get to tell his side of the story when his own book is published later this year.
The one-time Smiths guitarist and now solo artist will publish 'Set the Boy Free' on November 3rd.
It is expected to cover both his time in the iconic band as well as the numerous acts he has played with and collaborated with over the years - which includes everyone from The The, The Pretenders, Modest Mouse, The Cribs, Talking Heads and more.
Marr says of the book: "I wanted to convey a feeling of breaking free, that has been a constant throughout my life. A feeling that expresses itself as both escape and discovery. Transcendence. I found it through rock ‘n’ roll and art and a journey living both in the modern world.“
