A father who took his 12-year-old daughter to see The Boss on Monday night in Albany, New York sent her to school the following day with an honest letter explaining why she was late.
"In the interest of honesty, I feel it my obligation to be straight with all of you as to the reason," Patrick Pipino wrote. "Last night Isabelle was lucky enough to see Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band in Albany, and darned if he didn't play for three and a half hours."
He posted the letter to his Facebook page, which was replicated by Consequence of Sound and can be seen in full below:
