If you're an Oasis fan, missing your favourite band and sick of the 'will-they-won't-they' rumours of their reformation, you can relax: salvation is at hand.
Apparently One Direction's new album, which they're currently working on, sounds "a bit Oasis-y", according to Liam Payne.
He told Capital FM that the boyband's first album as a four-piece - their fifth overall, which will be released later this year - is "coming together really well" and they've written "some great, great songs". If he says so himself.
"It's kind of like a bit Oasis-y almost, which is ace. I love that," he said. "The songs have come out a bit more chilled because I think we want this to be quite a long-lasting album that you can listen to anytime."
Noel Gallagher has yet to be reached for comment, but we can imagine that it would be something along the lines of "F**k that f*****g s***, knowworrimean?"
