Actor Harry Shearer - aka the voice of Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner, Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers and a host of other Simpsons characters - is to appear at the Dublin gig of his musician wife Judith Owen next week.
Welsh musician Owen is playing The Sugar Club on November 21st in support of her latest album 'Ebb & Flow', backed by session musicians Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel and Waddy Watchel.
Shearer has musical form - he co-wrote and starred in legendary mockumentary This is Spinal Tap, after all - and is likely to duet on a song or two with Owen. Less likely is him appearing in character, although it would be amazing to see Derek Smalls on a Dublin stage…
