Missy Elliott's recent guest spot at Katy Perry's Superbowl half-time show had many speculating that the hip-hop star is set to make a comeback - and it looks like that may be the case.

The rapper's last album was 2005's 'The Cookbook', but she is reportedly working on new material with none other than Pharrell Williams after a photo of the two of them in the studio emerged.

She has blamed her long absence from the music scene on Graves' disease, an autoimmune disease that causes hyperthyroidism and can affect the heart, skin, circulation and nervous system.

However, she posted the below photo on Twitter on Friday, leading to speculation that she has recovered and that a new album may be forthcoming this year.
