In fairness to Adele, she hasn't really branched out and collaborated with many people in recent years - if any - and we can't really imagine her voice on a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis song.
That didn't stop the pair from asking her, though.
Ben Haggerty aka Macklemore has revealed that the Londoner was approached to feature on their song 'Growing Up', which was written about his daughter Sloane - but she said no.
He told The New York Times: "She graciously passed. I’m sure that there were times that we never heard back from somebody’s manager or something like that, but for the most part, no.”
In the end, they settled for another million-selling Brit, Ed Sheeran, to collaborate on the song - which you can hear below:
