Rufus Wainwright is no stranger to adapting unusual texts for his music; he has already written an opera, staged extravagant shows and included the words of a sonnet written by Shakespeare on an album in the past.
Now, he's bringing out an entire collection of sonnets penned by The Bard, and he's enlisted a number of celebrity guests to lend their voices to the project.
One of them is Florence Welch (Florence + the Machine), who accompanies Wainwright on Sonnet 29, or "When in Disgrace with Fortune and Men’s Eyes".
Other collaborators on the album - which is called ‘Take All My Loves: 9 Shakespeare Sonnets’ and is released on April 22nd, included actors Helena Bonham Carter, William Shatner and Carrie Fisher.
