With only days until the release of second solo album 'Lazaretto', Jack White is streaming his new record online through iTunes Radio.
The follow up to 2012's 'Blunderbuss', White's second solo offering will be released through his very own Third Man Records label and XL Recordings.
A keen champion of vinyl through his Nashville based Third Man Records label and Third Man Records record store, White is releasing an 'Ultra' vinyl edition of 'Lazaretto'. Pressed on 180 gram vinyl, this special release will feature two hidden tracks unique to the ‘Ultra’ vinyl edition, embedded under the labels on the record: one playing at 78 rpm, one at 45 rpm, making the release a three- speed record.
The 'Ultra' edition also features a mix different to that of the digital and cd releases and feature a different running order.
And as if that wasn't all: a hand-etched hologram of an angel by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science is featured in the dead wax of Side A, appearing while the record is spinning.
