The newest inductees into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame have been announced.
For a band or act to be eligible, 25 years since the release of their first album must have passed.
Pop-punk trio Green Day qualify in 2015 since they released '39/Smooth' in 1990, so they will be inducted at the ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio on April 18th.
Joining them in the Hall of Fame will be Bill Withers, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, while Lou Reed will also be posthumously inducted.
Ringo Starr will receive the Award for Musical Excellence, while R&B/gospel/blues band The "5" Royales will be receive the Early Influence Award.
