Glen Hansard will release his second solo album this September.
The follow-up to the Frames frontman's solo debut from 2012, 'Rhythm & Repose', is called 'Didn't He Ramble.'
It's released on September 18th via Plateau/Anti-Records.
The album was co-produced by Thomas Bartlett, a member of The Gloaming and frequent collaborator of acts like The National and Sufjan Stevens, and also by Hansard's former Frames bandmate Dave Odlum. It was recorded in Dublin, New York, Chicago and France, and will feature guests such as John Sheahan of The Dubliners, Sam Amidon and Sam Beam of Iron & Wine.
Watch the video below for the album's first single, 'Winning Streak' - don't worry, Marty Whelan's nowhere to be seen.
The Frames, meanwhile, play their two 25th anniversary gigs this weekend at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens.
