Former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding will release her debut solo single next month.

It's called 'Threads' and will be out on August 7th, according to Harding's Twitter announcement last night.

Harding is the fourth member of the girl band to go solo, following album releases by Cheryl Fernandez Versini, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts - although she has had several acting roles both during and since their split. An album release is rumoured to be on the cards, too, as she discussed recording a full-length record at her home studio last year.
