Dave Grohl and co. will perform on The Late Show each night next week to promote their upcoming new record 'Sonic Highways'.
As if you needed another reason to tune in to the soon-to-retiring David Letterman late night show on US network CBS, Foo Fighters have revealed that they'll be the musical guest on the popular talk show every single night next week.
Starting Monday October 13th with an extended interview with Grohl, the week will then continue with a distinct Foo Fighters flavour for the rest of the week where the former Nirvana man is expected to reveal details of the band's most ambitious album yet - 'Sonic Highways'.
The album was recorded in eight different cities in the United States, with Grohl stating that he wanted the sounds and recordings from the sessions to mirror the different musical movements present in the U.S.
Speaking of 'Sonic Highways', as quoted by NME Grohl said: "the album is instantly recognisable as a Foo Fighters record, but there's something deeper and more musical to it. I think that these cities and these people influenced us to stretch out and explore new territory, without losing our 'sound'."
The album will be released early next month and the tracklist looks like this:
