To date, Eagles of Death Metal have conducted themselves with dignity in the months following the horrific terrorist attacks at their gig in Paris in November.
Now, however, the band's frontman Jesse Hughes is certain to anger some people with his comments on gun usage.
Although 89 people were shot dead at the gig, Hughes - who was depicted as an advocate of the NRA and an avid supporter of Donald Trump in VICE documentary 'The Redemption of the Devil' - told French TV station iTele that he was doubtful that the gun control laws in France had any positive effect on the events of November 13th.
"I don't think so," he said. "I think the only thing that stopped it was some of the bravest men that I've ever seen in my life charging head first into the face of death with their firearms.
"I know people will disagree with me ... but that night guns made them equal. And I hate it that it's that way... Until nobody has guns everybody has to have them."
He also said, in a different interview, that he carried a gun everywhere he went in the US. "I don't go anywhere in America without a gun anymore," he said. "That sucks. And I'm not paranoid. I'm not a cowboy ... but I want to be prepared."
