By his own account, dance producer Rollo Armstrong doesn't want to be famous. So far he's managed pretty well, despite being the creative force behind Faithless, who've made some of the most original trance albums of the last decade. His latest side project, made with keyboardist Mark Bates, is a concept album that aims to evoke the joys and frustrations of childhood through the use of lush, ambient electronic soundscapes. There's not a lot to dance to here, but it's still a warm, seductive collage of mellow beats and - in its best moments - a beautifully laid-back listening experience.
