A new festival with an emphasis on folk and trad acts will take place in Leixlip this May.
Salmon Leap takes place at the Salmon Leap Inn on the banks of the River Liffey in the Co. Kildare town, and will run from May 29th - 31st.
The first acts announced for its inaugural year are:

Early bird tickets are on sale now at €30 for one day and €65 for the weekend, both including booking fee from salmonleapfestival.com. Damien Dempsey will headline on Friday, Altan and Kíla headline on Saturday, while Eddi Reader and Sharon Shannnon headline on Sunday.
