Ahead of the release of their fifth album El Pintor (of which you can get a taster of above, by the way) New York's Interpol will travel to Dublin for what will certainly be one of the best shows of next year when they step out on the Olympia Theatre famous boards on February 10th 2015.
El Pintor - their first LP since 2010's self titled Interpol - is set for an early September release on these shores and, interestingly, sees lead-singer and guitarist Paul Banks pull double (or triple, depending on how you look at it) duty by playing all of the record's basslines too. El Pintor was recorded in the band's home of New York City and was produced by the band themselves and mixed by frequent U2 and Smashing Pumpkins collaborater Alan Moulder.
Check out 'All The Rage Back Home' above, the first cut from the new record and a song which has already garnered upwards of 400,000 views online and the #1 track on Billboard's Twitter chart.
Tickets from €39.05 incl. booking fee are on sale this Friday at 9am
