It's hard to think of Keith Flint of Prodigy in riding jodhpurs and a crop, but apparently he's a big fan.
The traditional sport of fox-hunting is now banned in England, which previously saw foxes hunted across the countryside by horse-backed riders and packs of dogs. The brutal sport was heavily protested and has now since been outlawed, although it's rumoured it still carried on in certain areas.
Late last night, a video was posted to YouTube purporting to be from Anonymous that singled out Keith Flint of UK techno group The Prodigy for his involvement with hunting. The video, seen below, claims that Flint has been "rubbing shoulders with Tory criminals" and that Anonymous will "politically kill" Flint.
Here's the video in question.
We stopped listening to Prodigy around fifteen years ago, so this is all news to us that Flint was big into horse riding and the like. Fox hunting is, of course, an absolutely despicable bloodsport and it's been rightfully banned.
So the question is, why is Keith Flint getting mixed up with anything even remotely related to it? And why is Keith Flint into the country lifestyle of horses and whatnot? We always imagined that he'd be sitting at home, chewing on tinfoil, between shows and albums.
Who knew, eh?
