Aerosmith have been together since 1970, but their time as a band may come to an end after 37 years next year, if Steven Tyler is to be believed.
The frontman has been more concerned with his solo career in recent times, releasing a country album in 2015 and another is due sometime this year.
With Aerosmith on the backburner, he told Rolling Stone that it may be time to call it a day after one final tour.
"I'm doing 30 [solo] shows from May until August. And then in 2017 we go out with Aerosmith," he said. "We're probably doing a farewell tour."
He continued: "Look, there's two bands that still have the original members, us and the Stones. I'm grateful for that. Whether we do a farewell tour or go into the studio and do another record, I'm just excited about it."
