Are you a fan of '90s r'n'b? Y'know, the kind that we recently celebrated with our nifty playlist?
If so, you'll want to mark February 27th in your calendar, as that's when a tribute night to the late star - who died in 2001 at the age of 22 - will take place in Dublin.
The Sugar Club will first host a film screening of Romeo Must Die, and it'll be followed a a DJ set by Stevie G and Louis Scully of The RnB Club, who'll be spinning both Aaliyah tracks and those of her influences and contemporaries - so expect a lot of Missy Elliot, Timbaland, R.Kelly, etc.
There'll also be sets by Discotekken DJs Eoin Cody and Richie B, who'll play disco, house and '80s boogie 'til the wee small hours.
Tickets are €10 and on sale via this link.
