"World War Two in HD Colour" uses colourisation techniques to show the story of the Second World War in colour and in high definition. Documents, files and photographs that have only been released in the past few years provide a new insight into the conflict. The series begins with an exploration of why the First World War led to an even greater conflict only a few years later. It premiered on the Discovery channel in 2009.
