Skydance Animation, the studio responsible the 2022 Apple TV+ film Luck, embarks on a journey of self-discovery in a seven-part adventure based on Tony DiTerlizzi's bestselling book series The Search For WondLa. Curious teenager Eva (voiced by Jeanine Mason) has been raised in a state-of-the-art underground bunker, believing her isolation is a consequence of allowing planet Earth to heal from a deep-rooted sickness. Her only companion is a robot caretaker named Muthr (Teri Hatcher), who has been programmed to protect Eva at all costs. When Eva turns 16, the subterranean sanctuary is compromised and the girl climbs to the surface where she learns there are no other humans and the third rock from the sun is now known as Orbona. Alien civilisations rule the planet and Eva is determined to understand if she is truly the last of her species.
