"The Almighty Johnsons" is a New Zealand comedy drama about four brothers who are descended from Norse Gods. Each of them have godlike powers that are not very powerful: Axl (Emmett Couling Skilton) is young but blessed with wisdom; Mike (Tim Balme) can beat anyone at board games; Anders (Dean O'Gorman) can influence people with words; and Ty (Jared Turner) has the power to make things slightly colder. In the first episode, Axl celebrates his 21st birthday at a time when lots of women seemingly want to kill him. The series premiered on Syfy in February 2012.
