Reggie Perrin
"Reggie Perrin" is a modern-day update of 1970s sitcom "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin". It stars Martin Clunes in the title role as a middle-aged sales executive who finds himself struggling to cope with the monotony of his life. Rebellion begins to build in his mind, in the form of surreal flights of fancy, and slowly Reggie begins to say what he really thinks to his wife Nicola (Fay Ripley), overbearing boss Chris Jackson (Neil Stuke), and new colleague Jasmine (Lucy Liemann). It is written by Simon Nye ("Men Behaving Badly") and David Nobbs, the writer and creator of the original show. It premiered on BBC One in 2009 and ran for two series.
