"Redakai: Conquer the Kairu" is an animated series for children following 15-year-old student Ky on his quest to find the Kairu, an alien energy source. Ky travels around the world with his friends Maya and Boomer to search for the Kairu while thwarting the attempts of teenage alien adversaries hoping to locate the energy source first. It premiered on Cartoon Network in January 2012.
