'Mr Bean: The Animated Series' is a cartoon version of the live-action TV series 'Mr Bean'. As with the main show, the animated incarnation features little dialogue and follows the misadventures of 'Mr Bean', a nerdy character who is constantly involved in numerous disasters. Other characters include Bean's teddy bear, his girlfriend Irma Gobb, and his irate landlady Mrs Julia Wicket, who owns an evil one-eyed cat called Scrapper. Fifty-two episodes were made between 2002 and 2004 and it can be seen on Boomerang.

Unlike the first two seasons, Season 3 is the first season to be broadcast daily on CITV rather than a Saturday night prime-time slot on ITV1 as well as the first to have 18 single episodes rather than back-to-back segments.
Following an 11-year hiatus, a new revived series consisting of 52 episodes each lasting for 11 minutes began broadcasting in February 2015.
