'Jake and the Neverland Pirates' is an animated musical for younger children based on the tale of Peter Pan. Jake is the leader of a group of young pirates on the lookout for treasure. Cubby is the junior member of the gang and Izzy is the only girl pirate. She has a small sack of pixie dust given to her by fairies, but she only uses it for emergencies. Skully is a small bird that acts like a guardian for the children. He keeps a lookout for the gang's arch-enemies Captain Hook and Smee. The 14-part series premiered on Disney Junior and the Disney Channel in 2011.
