Harry Enfield's Television Programme

"Harry Enfield's Television Programme" is a comedy sketch show starring Harry Enfield, Paul Whitehouse and Kathy Burke as an assortment of recurring characters. It introduced to the world a number of memorable creations, including schoolboys Kevin "I hate you!" Patterson and Perry, the Lovely Wobbly Randy Old Ladies, idiot mechanics Lee and Lance, snobbish TV presenter Mr Cholmondeley-Warner, Mr You-Don't-Wanna-Do-It-Like-That, the Old Gits, the Self-Righteous Brothers, Tim Nice-But-Dim, Wayne and Waynetta Slob, and DJ dinosaurs Smashie `n" Nicey on Radio Fab FM. It premiered on BBC Two in 1990 and ran for two series. It was renamed "Harry Enfield and Chums" when it made the switch to BBC One in 1994 and ran for a further two series. The characters Kevin and Perry made the transition to the big screen in "Kevin & Perry Go Large" in 2000.
