After months of speculation about the future of the show, ITV have confirmed that the X Factor will return for at least two more years.
Two more years of embarrassing auditions, cringey live performances and Ollie Murrs gaffes.
Although it's been running for eleven years now, the show is far from the ratings powerhouse it once was with viewers steadily declining year on year. Here's hoping Simon has got a few tricks up his sleeve to make the show relevant again because with the 2015 winner Louisa Johnson entering the charts at number nine for her debut single, it marked the worst performance ever from an X Factor winner.
May we suggest bringing Louis back?
