David Duchovny has been waxing lyrical to Rolling Stone about an X-Files reunion, and the noises he's been making are pretty positive.

He told the magazine, "I wish the second [movie] did better business. I think it did okay business, but not the kind of business where you get to do another one right away."

Adding, "It's just a matter of interest from Fox and scheduling." Before giving us all hope with, "I never think it's done. I'd say, it's never done until one of us dies - until one of us three is gone."

There have been many incredible shows over the years, with cable taking the lead (HBO rocking The Sopranos, AMC bringing us Breaking Bad) and then the likes of Netflix getting in on the game with incredible original programming like House of Cards. But the first three seasons of The X-Files are truly seminal; we want to go back to there.

Make it happen, Fox.
