Mairead Ronan joins this year's lineup of 'Dancing With The Stars', pairing her with professional dancer John Nolan.

Previously, Nolan was partnered with Deirdre O'Kane in last year's series and Teresa Mannion in the year before that. Nolan and Mannion finished in 7th place, whilst Nolan and O'Kane were joint runners-up in 2018.

Most people will know Mairead from her stint on Today FM's 'Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show' and, before that, 'The Ray D'Arcy Show'. Ronan was also a panelist on 'The Panel' on RTE in 2006, and was also a regular on 'Republic of Telly'. She was also involved in 'Celebrity Bainsteoir', where she managed Ballymun Kickhams in the third season.

Speaking before the show's lineup announcement, Ronan said that she was "very excited but I have a big ball of nerves in my stomach!"

"I’ve never done anything glamorous on TV, I’m always out in fields and mucky places with wellies and runners, so now to be in heels and sparkly dresses is both brilliant and brutal. The only dancing I do is around the kitchen with my baby, so this is going to be a whole new experience for me!"
