If you're a fan of podcasts, there's a good chance you're already subscribed to - or at the very least, know about - Welcome To Night Vale.
The long-running series takes the shape of a radio show for a fictional desert town in the US where, according to its creators, "all conspiracy theories were real, and we would just go from there with that understood." The podcast has a number of recognisable names attached to it as guest stars and writers since it began, including Mara Wilson - yes, Mathilda - Wil Wheaton from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Retta from Parks And Recreation.
It's understood that Better Call Saul producer Gennifer Hutchinson has been brought on to get the thing up and running as an executive producer, with creators Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor also acting as executive producers as well. There's been no word yet on casting for the series, but don't be in the least bit surprised if the show features some of its previous guests in the live-action adaptation.
No release date has been confirmed for the show or a production start-date.
