Good old Bill O'Herlihy, there was just a snippet of fear last week that with all the World Cup hype, poor Bill's retirement might be overlooked (or they'd mess it up somehow really). Fair play to RTE though, they pulled out all the stops. As well as that rather epic montage they played on Sunday night, they've followed up with this great video now which follows Bill's last day in work.
It features interviews with colleagues and friends who knew him best, Sunday night's after party and of course we hear from the man himself on some of the highlights of his lengthy broadcasting career. All with Elbow's One Day Like This' playing underneath, sure what more could you ask for!
