While we wait for the fourth season of Sherlock to return to our screens in 2016, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will return to our TV screens in a one-off special set in the Victorian England that the original character came from.
What that means for us is plenty of proper English, long coats and Holmes' famous deerstalker hat, plus plenty of foggy mystery, chasing and intrigue. So your standard Sherlock adventure then.
There's still exact date for the special, but it's more than likely we'll get to see it on Christmas day, unless showrunner Steven Moffat intends to torture us further and push it to New Year's Day.
And he wouldn't do that now, would he?
