We say 'dreaded' because if previous seasons are anything to go by, episode nine is always the most climatic - it was when Ned Stark met his maker in season one, and the traumatic Red Wedding of season three. Although, the writers did say that this season wouldn't necessarily follow this tradition, and would feature a lot more 'episode nines' throughout, which this week's episode has certainly proved.
This penultimate season four episode is called 'The Watchers on the Wall' and looks like Jon Snow and the lads will finally face these Wildling folk in what's set to be an epic showdown, as you will see in the trailer below.
No mention of Tyrion and his planned execution here though... which we've decided to take as a positive, probably foolishly.
