Like every other great actor of his generation, Oscar Isaac is following up a string of great films by jumping on board the TV train.
Show Me A Hero, HBO's latest mini-series, has been penned by The Wire creator David Simon, and William F. Zorzi, who penned a large portion of The Wire's fourth season. Paul Haggis(Crash, Million Dollar Baby) will man the directing chair, with the trio all function as producers for the show as well.
Not a bad team behind the scenes by any stretch, add that to the cast of Isaac, Winona Ryder, Catherine Keener, and Jim Belushi and baby you've got a stew going. As if that wasn't enough for us, here's the tipping point. The show is about a public housing development in Yonkers, New York. Following on from all the great shows with seemingly boring synopses, like Halt and Catch Fire, Man Men, or Silicon Valley, this is destined to be a hit. Plus the trailer looks immense.
