We all know first dates are incredibly awkward at the start - you don't know the person, you're nervous as all hell and it's small talk central. Hence why the entire nation loves watching First Dates so much, because you can see all of that awkwardness unfold from the comfort of your own couch.
This upcoming date on the show on Tuesday though is so awkward you may want to hide behind your couch.
It sees Donegal nurse Michelle meet Cork man Killian and it's a slow start for the pair, to say the least. Killian even jokes - "We’ll get the awkward silence out of the way at the start".
The pair of them actually seem absolutely lovely though so our fingers are crossed that they find a way to break the ice sooner rather than later.
