We can probably all agree that 2016 has been a tough year.
Certainly one of the more tougher years in recent memory at the very least but the good news is that there's less than a month of it left and we now have a spirit animal to sum up all of our feelings about it.
Who else other than David Attenborough and the spectacular Planet Earth II would provide us with a moment as good as this? On last night's episode, a fox featured in a sequence which saw it hunting for a vole in the snow.

At one point the fox dived headfirst into the snow and pretty much summed up how we all feel about 2016.

Needless to say, a lot of people could relate to it.

Someone even managed to draw comparisons between the fox and another former BBC star.
