Dan Weiss and David Benioff made a rare apology on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' last night after this week's episode of 'Game of Thrones' sparked a wave of upset that hadn't yet been seen by fans of the show, mostly because it answered a long-held mystery while also killing off a much-loved character.

However, it's not the death that they're apologising for. It's for everyone who'll now ruin the holding of doors for the rest of our lives.
