Netflix have been teasing their latest collaboration with Marvel for a while now but today we finally got our first proper look at what they have in store for us with 'Jessica Jones'.
Starring Krysten Ritter (she of the severely underrated and underwatched 'Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23' and 'Veronica Mars'), the series follows the titular Jones, a former superhero 'haunted by a traumatic past' who 'uses her gifts as a private eye to find her tormentor before he can harm anyone else in Hell's Kitchen.'
The main plot looks like Jones will be showing down with David Tennant's mind-control powered Killgrave (who previously f*cked her up royally from what we can discern) while also solving a series of mysteries through her P.I. firm Alias Investigations offering the procedural stories of the week/episode.
If 'Daredevil' and this trailer are anything to go by, this is going to get hella dark, hella quick but in the best possible way.
'Marvel's Jessica Jones' comes to Netflix in full on November 20th.
