Take a note Corden, this is how it's done.
Like James Corden, Stephen Colbert opened his show with a Beyoncé-themed gag and monologue but unlike Corden, Colbert didn't drag it out over nearly four minutes. Instead he distilled it into his own brand of 'Stephen-ade', which basically sees him dress in yellow and wreck his own office with a baseball bat.
We guess 'Lemonade-ing' can now be the term for effing sh*t up royally.
Colbert also did the right thing and acknowledged the fallacy of his attempt to explain 'Lemonade' and the hidden meanings in it in the excellent 'Stephen Colbert White-Mansplains: Lemonade', which should get you up to speed if you're behind on your Lemon-oledge.
