The late night host continued his coverage of the Trump presidency at the top of his show last night, this time taking aim at the fact there's a $2 trillion accounting error in Trump's proposed budget and using it as a reason for Trump to stay out of the country for as long as possible.
"There is a simple explanation for how this happened," Colbert said in his monologue. "Donald Trump is an idiot. Or he's lying."
Doesn't sound like a either/or thing to us.
