Many will see Bill O'Reilly's unceremonious departure from Fox News as a small glimmer of hope in a shitstorm of a year and it appears no one's going to be more delighted to see the man off the air than Stephen Colbert.
Colbert opened his show last night by addressing Fox's firing of O'Reilly and while he said he wasn't going to "publicly gloat" about it, he had plenty to say without saying it.
And seeing as O'Reilly is largely responsible for Colbert's warped version of himself on 'The Colbert Report', it was only fair that that version of Colbert got to say goodbye too.
