Even though nearly a week has gone by since that Aer Lingus sketch was inflicted on the world, it looks like we're still talking about it - even though everyone took on a collective bout of amnesia about the whole thing to try and make it through our daily lives.
Saoirse Ronan flew in to Dublin - most likely on Aer Lingus, it has to be said - for the first Irish screening of the hit dramedy Lady Bird, which puts Ronan on track for her third Oscar nomination at the age of 23. Naturally enough, the flying visit also included a stop-off at the Late Late where Tubridy naturally brought up the SNL sketch.
Ronan's response? Well, take a look and see for yourself.
The takeaway from all this is that had the sketch actually been funny, nobody would have cared in the slightest and we definitely wouldn't even be talking about it now. The accents were terrible, the sketch didn't make any sense - but, truthfully, nobody is putting that on Saoirse Ronan.
Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.
