Despite being married to Tom Cruise for several years and having a moderately successful movie career that's seen her appear in a Batman movie, to a certain generation, Katie Holmes is always going to be Joey Potter from Dawson's Creek.
Which is why when she appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, it was only natural that she would be asked about her time on the show. (Because asking questions about Scientology and being married to Tom Cruise would be super awkward right?)
The topic of on-screen kisses came up and of course Corden asked the question everybody wanted to know. Who was the better kisser? Dawson (James Van Der Beek) or Pacey (Joshua Jackson). Katie was a little flustered and reluctant to give and answer but she eventually gave the people what they wanted after getting some support from Ryan Reynolds.
We knew it would it would be Pacey! Joey and Pacey didn't make our list of TV's best first kisses for nothing you know.
And how cool is it that Ryan Reynolds and Joshua Jackson went to High School together? That would have been a fun class to be in.
