It's hard to believe, but after thirty years of punditry, the great Johnny Giles hung up his boots once and for all after last night's Euro final.
As well as being one of the famous 'Three Amigos', alongside Liam Brady and Eamon Dunphy, he is regarded as the one of the greatest Irish players we've ever had and also managed the international team from 1973-1980.
RTE paid tribute to the man himself last night in this lovely montage below, which will remind you of just how integral John Giles was to Irish football down the years.
