In lieu of an actual interview with Scott Bakula, Colbert gave us what we all wanted to see, and that's Sam Beckett from 'Quantum Leap' bouncing around in time saving the future one leap at a time while also skewering Donald Trump once more.
Having noticed that an old episode of 'Quantum Leap' had a sort of cameo from Donald Trump, Colbert and Bakula went 'back in time' to try and steer him off his path to the White House. Obviously, not everything went to plan.
