We're not saying that they took the idea to make this show from Entourage, but we're also not saying that they didn't.

Pablo Escobar was one of the world's most famous drug lords thanks to his time as one of the leaders of the infamous Medellin cartel. Think a Colombian Tony Montana, but throw in a couple more billion in the bank, and a lot less moral principles.

So as you could expect, it was only a matter of time before someone made a big budget film or TV show out of his life, and Netflix are that someone. Narcos, seems like an apt name, is based on the rise of Escobar and the growth of his power and operations, as well as the DEA agent who is tasked with capturing and killing him.

Set for a ten episode first season which is scheduled to be released on the 28th August, Narcos sounds like it could be our latest fix of crime/drug related dramas, seeing as we physically can't rewatch Breaking Bad and The Wire again. It's time for something new, and although this teaser doesn't give much away, it's enough to get us excited. Let's hope it doesn't tank like Vincent Chase's Medellin.
