We all remember the Keanu Reeves starring comic book adaptation Constantine, right? Right? Well it was notable for being I Am Legend and Hunger Games: Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence’s first flick, and was actually a bit of a laugh.

Now NBC have made a series based on the same Hellblazer comics character starring Welch actor Matt Ryan (Criminal Minds) and directed by Game of Thrones regular and The Descent director, Neil Marshall.

We’re not sure if it’s the disjointed nature of the trailer or maybe it’s just made for hardcore fans, but it looks a bit forced.

We’ll reserve judgement until we’ve seen an episode, though.
